The holiday travel season brings stress and little time to re- energize yourself. Here are 7 tips to take care for yourself and boost your mood in all the planning and travel.

  1. Create your own mini spa on your plane or train with a neck pillow and immerse yourself in a great book.
  2. Don’t eat an energy bar if your looking for a boost at the airport, instead pack a bag of nuts, popcorn, or an energy bar with no additives.
  3. If you get to the airport with time to spare walk around and explore the terminal instead of just sitting at the gate. You should also do some full body stretches to loosen your muscles.
  4. If you are a caffeine junkie you should alternate caffeinated drinks and non-caffeinated drinks while traveling to stay hydrated.
  5. In your hotel room take an lavender Epsom salt bath and bring a candle to feel more at home.
  6. Instead of turning to junk food bring small packs of high calorie snacks like Edamame to keep you going all day.
  7. Portion sizes at this time of year can also be very large, to combat eating too much cut your entree in half and reevaluate your hunger after eating just one half.

How to Choose a Private Jet Charter to Miami

With so many options among private charter brokers, it can be challenging to find the right fit for your personal or business needs.

There are many companies to choose from that offer flights to and from Miami. Consider the following questions when evaluating a charter company before booking your next flight:

1. How Do They Handle Safety?

Safety is paramount when it comes to air travel.

There are several good indicators to reflect on when evaluating a particular company.

Several third party agencies assess the safety of private charter companies, including WYVERN and ARG/US.

These agencies have stringent guidelines for evaluating safety, and are known for examining operations even more strictly than the FAA. An approval from these agencies means the company is in compliance with important safety guidelines.

2. Do the Amenities Meet My Needs?

Whether you are looking for a classy business environment, or luxurious personal setting, the amenities of charter flights are many.

Contemplate the following brief list of comforts when planning your trip:

  • Catering
  • In-flight private chef
  • Business needs
  • Coordination with ground transportation

The selection of conveniences varies greatly from company to company, so be sure to carefully evaluate your options before choosing the right fit for your requirements.

3. How Are Trip Logistics Handled?

One of the greatest advantages of flying privately is flexibility.

A private flight should allow you to set the schedule, and then rest assured that the details are being monitored by a capable team whose interest is your on-time arrival.

Time is money in the air business, so look for a company that demands and delivers punctuality, while still allowing you to manage the schedule if a last minute change arises.

Choosing among charter companies is simpler when there is transparency from the beginning.

Developing a relationship with a company means looking into their procedures, attention to safety and client satisfaction. With the right team, your only final concern should be to sit back and enjoy your flight to Miami.

Take a Private Flight to Sunny Miami

You and your family deserve a special vacation, to a special place. How about sun, sand, blue skies and invigorating ocean breezes?

The Sunshine State of Florida comes instantly to mind, so why put it off?  Make your vacation extra special by booking a private jet to Miami.

Ask for a Charter Quote

First things first: How much is a private jet to Miami going to cost?

That depends, of course, on the distance involved along with the size of aircraft.

The jet charter company will put a pricing package together when you provide a bit of information:

  • The number of people in your party
  • Your estimated departure dates and times
  • The size or type of aircraft you prefer
  • Your priorities as to cost, speed and age of aircraft

Pricing Notations

Several perks will be bundled into the pricing for your trip on a private jet to Miami.

One of these will likely be limousine transportation. In-flight dining and entertainment options are always available.

You should keep in mind, however, that the costs associated with your flight will also include certain taxes and current jet fuel pricing.

Just as Safe as an Airliner

Private jets are held to the same high safety standards as their commercial brethren.

Private jet fleets are generally younger than commercial fleets and jet charter companies often employ higher maintenance standards.

You would do well to choose a charter operator that is approved by third-party aviation safety auditors, such as Wyvern Consulting, Ltd.

Comparing a Private Flight to First-Class Commercial

Taking a special vacation using a private jet to Miami may not be something you can do every year, and you may wonder if flying commercial would do just as well.

In terms of convenience, privacy and comfort, however, there is no comparison. And when you crunch the numbers, you might find that the cost involved with a private charter compares quite favorably with a first-class commercial flight.
