If you are about to hop on a long flight, check out these five tips to make the in-flight experience easier on yourself. First, whether flying commercial or private, choose a good seat that will allow you to be comfortable and get good rest. Find a way to sleep on the flight, so that you won’t be exhausted by the time you arrive. When you aren’t sleeping, keep yourself busy with in-flight entertainment or your own devices or books. Drink plenty of fluids while in flight to prevent jet lag and stay hydrated. Consider freshening up halfway through the flight to break up the time sitting down and refresh yourself.
