Luxury Europe Holiday with Kids

Luxury hotels previously looked down on families with children staying there. Now luxury hotels are embracing family travel and creating activities exclusively for children. The Badrutt’s Palace Hotel even hired a temporary manager that was 8 years old to help incorporate amenities for children like games, food, down to the height of childrens mirrors. Now other hotels in London, Cannes, the Alps, and Rome are making adjustments for children.

  9. The Artic usually brings to mind images of ice and polar bears and is usually disregarded as a vacation destination. However travel companies are taking advantage of frozen tundra as a place to get away from the modern world.
  10. If you don’t want to travel too far, you should visit 1 or several of the 59 U.S. National Parks are spread out across the country.

Venice to Ban Wheeled Suitcases

A new law due to go into effect in May of 2015 would ban wheeled suitcases from the city, which locals cite as a source of major noise and inconvenience. The rule “will require luggage to be transported on quieter air-filled tires” and make for a much quieter travel experience around the city.
