Tips For Preparing For Your Spring Vacation

Going on a vacation is a great way to celebrate the arrival of spring. While vacations can be a lot of fun, there are many things you will need to do in order to prepare for one. Below is a list of tips that will help you prepare for your spring vacation, no matter where you are headed.

Plan Ahead Of Time

Planning a vacation can be quite stressful. However, the earlier you start planning, the less stressful it will be. You should start planning your vacation at least three weeks ahead of time. Not only should you plan your trip early, but you should also book it early. You will be able to save money on a hotel, car rental and flight if you book your trip early. Furthermore, you will be increasing your chance of getting the room and seat that you want by booking early.

Consider a Private Jet

People are so used to taking commercial flights that they might forget about the option of taking a private jet when it comes to planning a spring vacation. Private jet charter services offer a number of advantages over commercial airlines, such as increased privacy, more space, no waiting in lines, and 24/7 in-flight service.

Set A Budget

You may have a lot of activities planned for your vacation. You may also have a list of things that you want to buy. However, you do not want to overspend. That is why it is a good idea to set a budget before you go on vacation. Determine how much you are willing to spend on food, entertainment, transportation and souvenirs before you go on vacation.

Keep in mind that there are many things you can do in order to trim your travel costs. For example, you can choose a hotel that has a refrigerator, and you can buy groceries instead of eating at a restaurant. If you are going to an area that has public transportation, then you should use it instead of renting a car.

Do Your Research

If you plan on traveling to a place you have never been, then it is a good idea to research the area before you go on vacation. This will allow you to familiarize yourself with the area. Find out about the restaurants, hotels, grocery stores and attractions in the area.

You should also find out about the documents you need to take with you. For example, if you are going out of the country, then you will need to bring a passport. A photo ID will most likely suffice if you are staying in the country.

The Importance of Private Jet Charter Service Safety

Private jet safety has been an issue for many years in order to product the public from the dangers of unscrupulous companies. The regulation of aircraft began in the United States during the 1920s after several aviation disasters occurred that led to deaths. Currently, there is an average of 7,000 fatalities each year because of the strict regulations in place. While this statistic may seem like a high number of deaths, it is a small percentage of the individuals who fly each year on all types of aircraft in the United States.

Standards of Safety

The companies that offer private jet charters are also held to a high standard of safety to protect consumers using services along with people on the ground who are at risk of injury or death when an aviation disaster does occur. Regulations are in place for a variety of private jet safety precautions, including:

• Choosing safe landing sites with proper lighting
• Using proper navigational gear
• Communicating flight plans with authorities
• Proper training for pilots
• Coping with lightning strikes
• Learning what to do if engines malfunction
• Keeping aircraft secure from sabotage
• Training in emergency evacuation

Private Aviation Safety Associations

When someone wants to hire a pilot and private jet, it is a good idea to check if it belongs to a safety association. Over 8,000 charter jet services belong to the nonprofit National Business Aviation Association that is headquartered in Washington DC. ARGUS International Inc., also provides a way for private jet charter companies to have its aircraft and employees audited by professionals.

The Auditing Process

Audits are completed on a regular basis with experts verifying that employees are trained and have no sanctions against them. Every part of an aircraft is inspected, including its instrument panel, propellers and engines. The interior of the aircraft is also inspected carefully to ensure there are no dangers that can lead to accidental fires or explosions. The auditors look at the flight plans used in the past and determine how pilots reacted to unexpected situations that required emergency adjustments.

Private Jet Charter Advantages

Private jet charter services can be a terrific and luxurious way to travel. If you’re planning a vacation or trip somewhere and want to enjoy maximum comfort and convenience, renting a private jet charter can make a wondrous option.

It may not come as much of a surprise that there are a lot of perks to flying on private airplanes. If you’re the kind of person who truly appreciates privacy, flying on a private jet in the company of close family members and friends can definitely beat being around strangers for hours on end. If you’re not exactly fond of the idea of sitting next to a nosy stranger who may ask you tons of persistent questions during your long-haul flight, going the private jet route may indeed be a superior choice for you.

Private jet charter services are also terrific for people who appreciate a little bit of flexibility in their travel plans. If you’re stuck in horrible traffic on your way to the airport, a private jet charter will wait around for you for a while. That’s definitely not the case with commercial planes. If you miss your commercial flight due to traffic or anything else that’s out of your control, you have to wait for the next available option. That can sometimes take a few hours, unfortunately.

Private jets can also be great for peace of mind. Flying commercial can be an overwhelming and frustrating experience for many people. The process involves waiting in a lot of slow lines. It involves lengthy waits for the bathroom mid-flight. It involves dealing with loud and inconsiderate people in the next aisle. The list of potential problems is long. Missing baggage is yet another big concern for people who fly commercially. If you want to make your travel experience as easy, smooth and convenient as can be, relying on private jet charter services can be very intelligent.

Many busy professionals prefer private jet charter services because they can handle work-related matters without having to worry about others listening. This is important particularly in confidential situations. The advantages of flying on private jets are truly varied and numerous.

Corporate Jets Change Ryanair

Once well known for blandness and indifference, Ryanair is turning over a new leaf with a newly fitted corporate jet. In hopes to attract a better class of passenger, the Boeing Co. 737-700 has been upgraded with all-leather reclining seats and up to 3 times the space for each passenger.

Ryanair has added a fine-dinging catering facility to the plane and is actively targeting companies for rental of the craft. This looks like the beginning of a new focus on corporate flights from Ryanair.

Differences Between a Private Charter and a Commercial Flight

If you don’t want to take a commercial flight somewhere, you can take a private jet charter instead, but be prepared for some major differences. Flying on a private jet charter is a lot different than flying commercial.

Checking in
When you have a commercial flight, you show up at the passenger terminal well before your flight lives so you can check in, check your bags if necessary and go through security. This process can take an hour or more, which is why you are told to show up at the airport more than an hour in advance. When you have a private charter, you will go to the general aviation section of the airport rather than the commercial passenger terminal. In some large cities, you may even go to an entirely different airport. You will park right next to the hangar and check in with a personal attendant. No boarding pass is needed and your security check will be quick. You can check your bags or carry them on with you without any hassle.

Flying
In most cases with commercial flights, unless you are flying from a large city to a large city, you will have to stop at a hub airport to connect with another flight, which requires you to get off one plane and onto another. When flying a private jet charter, your flight is almost always point to point, and you can fly straight to many smaller cities, as long as they have an airport that can accommodate a jet.

Cost
A private jet charter is much more expensive than a commercial flight. Commercial tickets usually cost a few hundred dollars, whereas a private jet charter could cost you a few thousand. Charters usually are priced by the hour, which means the farther you fly, the more it costs.

You have to be sure to weigh these factors and others when you are choosing whether to take a commercial flight or use a private jet charter.
