9 Outrageous Hotels Coming Soon | The Early Airway Private Jet Charter

Have you seen completely unfeasible hotel concepts that you would love to actually be able to stay in one day? Well here are 9 outrageous hotels that are actually in the making right now.

  1. The Shimao Wonderland Intercontinental in Shanghai will open in 2017 and is built into the cliff above a lagoon. You can participate in rock climbing and water activities or enjoy the view from the resturant.
  2. Posiedon will be a completely underwater hotel in Fiji. There will be 24 suites, a resturant, library, and spa with full views of the reef . It was originally supposed to open in 2008 but has been delayes and should open in 2017.
  3. Keemala Resort is set to be an outdoor adult wellness getaway in the rainforest of Phuket, Thailand.
  4. Lofoten Opera Hotel does not have an opening date but is a snake-shaped hotel with grand views of the Lofoten Islands in Norway. It will be a combination of hotel suites and apartments.
  5. The Hotel Crescent will look like a half-moon skyscraper high over the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan. The hotel is being built on a man made island that is connected to entertainment centers in Crescent City/ Crescent Place area by a bridge.
  6. Dubai is developing private islands on it’s coast in the next couple years. Construction began this June on 33 floating suites.
  7. The Royal Atlantis is hoping to “redefine luxury” with 800 guest rooms and 250 apartments in Dubai. A resturant by Gordon Ramsey will also be on the proprety along with a sky pool and marine park.
  8. Salt & Water floating catamaran hotels will be used to increase tourism on land locked lakes around the world. Salt & Water won the 2015 Millennium Yacht Design Award for these floating hotel rooms. They are not in construction yet.
  9. In Changsha, China the Dawang  Mountain Resort and tower will be partially suspended over a quarry and Tongxi Lake. There will also be a snow center on top of the hotel. Construction began in July and will be cmpleted in 2016.

  7. South American Cruise: Sail the high seas on teh Seven Seas Mariner for 72 days and stopping in location all around South America for $120,000.
  8. Iceland: Known for fire and ice, Iceland has beautiful landscapes and you can see many of them on the 10 day tour by Ker & Downey for $23,325 per person.

  4. Capitol Reef National Park, Utah is in the desert near Moab, Utah which gets extremely hot in the summer months. As the temperatures decrease in the fall months there is a fall harvest that visitors can participate in and pick fruit from the 3.000 trees in the area.
  5. Yosemite National Park, California is a great place to walk or bike ride around the valley and take in the wonderful sites. This is also a great place to go camping with the family.

Darkest Skies on Earth

The International Dark-Sky Association has certified Sossusvlei as a Dark-Sky Reserve. Light pollution does not exist in this desert where few animals live and people come to stay just for the starry nights.

You can arrive in Sossusvlei by a small plane and a gravel airstrip or take a 6 hour car ride from Windhoek.

The dessert lodge has a dining patio with telescopes to look at the stars up close. The hotel pathways are lit with red energy saving night-vision bulbs to produce as little light pollution as possible,.

Once you get into bed there are skylights above you so you can sleep under the stars too.

Bacalar, Quintana Roo is located along the Caribbean with a lagoon, Lago de Seis Colores that you can swim in. You can also take a trip over to the Mayan ruins. The rooms at Rancho Encantado have a Master suite and 2 twin beds for the kids.

Campeche, Campeche is where many affluent and native Spanish families lived before the Europeans came over. The city has been restored and has great museums show casing the Mayan architecture.

Private Jet Flight Safety is Top of Mind for Passengers

 

As a passenger, the biggest concern you have about flying is safety.

How old is the aircraft you plan to board? What is the safety record? Questions about private jet charter safety seem to come up more often than they would about aircraft operated by a commercial airline.

You would do well to choose a private jet operator that is ARG/US and WYVERN certified.

The Aviation Research Group United States and Wyvern Consulting are the country’s premiere third-party safety aviation auditors.

Conducting Research Into Operating Histories

Your private charter company should be relentless in its aircraft inspection program.

While the company does not maintain aircraft or crews of its own, it will have access to a wealth of information provided by operating histories.

Since that information can be passed along to potential clients, you can learn about the background not only of an individual aircraft, but also the crews, dispatcher, maintenance provider, insurance provider, and even the international handler, if applicable.

Flying the Wyvern Way

Wyvern Consulting was the first firm to conduct worldwide safety audits of air charter operators onsite.
