It seems like there are always things holding you back from traveling- be it money, work, family, or just a packed schedule. With the busyness of life, it can be easy to put traveling aside in favor of keeping up with life at home, but you may want to reconsider making travel a priority. According to new books from gerontologist Karl Pillemer, not traveling early or often enough was cited as one of the biggest regrets of those polled. Travel is one of the things that Americans dream about, yet 41% of Americans took no vacation days in 2014. Somewhere in there lies a disconnect between dreams and actions- so take the advice of the elders polled and travel now. You might regret it if you don’t!
