Upon returning from a wonderful, relaxing trip, we can often feel the warm glow of that post-vacation feeling. Holding on to that feeling for as long as you can might seem difficult, but there are ways to remain feeling rested and relaxed long after you’ve returned home. Planning for a low-stress vacation is the place to start, as this will give you the rejuvenation that you need. Upon returning home, reminisce about your trip through photos and savor the details of the trip. Share your experience with others and “re-experience” these moments in the present.
It may help for you to hold on to this feeling longer by keeping mementos around, using items that you purchased on your trip, or even wearing clothes acquired while traveling.
