Spain's Record Breaking Tourism Season

Heading to Spain this summer for a vacation? You’re not alone! Spain has set new records for tourism this year, welcoming an incredible 29.2 million visitors in the first half of the year alone. This represents a 4.2% increase from the same time period last year! 23% of tourists to Spain hail from the UK; 16% from Germany, and 15.6% from France.

According to the World Tourism Organization, May through August of this year will be a peak time, with 500 million tourists expected to travel abroad during the summer months.
