Private Jet Industry in China Faces Challenges

Although the private jet industry and business jet fleets are growing at a fast pace in China, there are still challenges that lie in the way of the industry’s development. From infrastructure to public perception of jet charters, “it will be years before the country’s private fliers get the same flexibility and service that are found in more developed markets.” Chinese culture generally does not encourage public displays of wealth, which has led many to minimize their luxury travels. However, with a huge market potential and strong economic growth, many professionals in the industry see large opportunity for expansion of the jet industry.
