Europe Braces for Summer Crowds
A strong dollar and low gas prices are prompting many travelers to plan trips to Europe this summer, and European cities are beginning massive preparations as a result. The continent’s most famous museums, sites, cultural centers, and other tourist attractions are bulking up on crowd control security, diverting tourists elsewhere, and extending hours to accommodate demand. Many museums have spent massive funds on renovations and other projects to extend capacity and prepare for the large crowds.
