World Travel Market's Top Travel Trends
The World Travel Market’s exhibition has just come to a close in London, and preliminary information has been released regarding upcoming trends. The four-day-long event saw a 7% increase in visitors and offered exhibits from hotels and agencies to other luxury amenity companies. As a result of the event, the annual report expects for 2015 to be a year of more business overall. They also expect a rise in peer-to-peer travel (ie. airbnb), responsible tourism, and sports tourism. The WTM exhibition even discussed the industry 35 years into the future, with some predicting fingerprint passports and space tourism.
