Travel During the ‘Dark Days’
Millions of people were traveling around the United States in the last few weeks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. If you are able to, you should take advantage of what the travel industry calls ‘The Dark Days’.
From the beginning of January to the middle of March, for spring breaks, there is a major lull in traveling because everyone just used up their budget for the holidays. Taking advantage of this time, excluding President’s Day weekend, means cheaper flights and hotels and less traffic.
