When we think of travel risks that we may be facing this summer, logistical issues, delays, and even violence may come to mind. But when traveling during the warm summer months, it’s also important to keep in mind key travel risks that relate to you personally: the biggest risk you will likely face this summer will be that of a dangerous sunburn. Nothing can ruin a trip more quickly than a terrible sunburn as a result of too much sun exposure without enough sun protection. Do your best to limit your exposure to the sun; if you are planning to spend a lot of time outdoors, be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen, spend time underneath some sort of shade, and stay covered when possible.
