Bombardier Inc. has become the first aircraft maker to offer live-streaming that will allow travelers to watch their favorite TV shows at rapid speeds. The capabilities will begin being incorporated into aircrafts as early as 2016, marking the latest upgrade for private luxury jets. Consultant Greg Raiff explained that “many plane buyers don’t bother with international Wi-Fi because current offerings are so ‘sketchy.'” When traveling outside of the United States, most airplanes are not equipped to provide internet access. This new development in streaming video will change the capabilities of international travel.
