In our ever globalizing society, it seems we are more interconnected than ever before. The rise of the internet, social media, and the ability to look just about anything up via search engine has certainly impacted the way that we travel and explore the world nowadays. Interacting with locals upon arrival and getting their advice can go a long way in shaping your experience.
