London Slated To Be Most Popular City for International Visitors

MasterCard’s Global Destination Cities Index has named London the most popular destination for international travelers, expecting 18.8 million visitors in 2015. Following London are Bangkok, Paris, Dubai and Istanbul to round out the top five. Bangkok and London have been neck-and-neck for the top spot over the past six years, each garnering massive international tourism numbers. London also retains the top spot in terms of visitor spending, with $20.2 billion (a 2.3 percent increase over 2014).
