The iconic Boeing 707 revolutionized the commercial air travel industry, changing the way we flew and saw the world. The success of the 707, combined with increasing demand for air travel over the past few decades, led to the creation of the 747 ‘Jumbo Jet’ and the rise of massive flights to accommodate that demand. The 707, admired by Frank Sinatra and John Travolta among others, seated 189 passengers and ushered in an era of travel unlike ever before. The 707 aircraft symbolized forward-thinking technology and models at a time when no plane like it existed.
