American Travelers To Spend More on Vacations This Year
According to an MMGY Global Survey, 66% of U.S. adults said that they plan to take one or more leisure trips over the next six months, and 31% expect to take at least one business trip. Despite the amount of travel’s overall decrease of 3% from last year, Americans expect to spend more on travel than in previous years. With the strong dollar and somewhat lower gas prices, vacation spending may remain strong through the end of the year.
