US Airports Lacking TSA Security

US Airports Lacking TSA Security | The Early Air Way

From the recent attack on Belgium’s airports, the US is reexamining the effectiveness of the TSA.

According to Nelson, only Atlanta, Miami and Orlando airports have reduced the number of entry points for airport workers and increased security screening.

The TSA is expected to receive a full security report on the 300 airports by the end of the month. This report will focus on entrypoints and security screenings, and hopes to expose the statistics of crime from airport employees. In the meantime, airports are beefing up their procedures for random checks of personnel.

The TSA has stepped up random screenings of airport employees, specifically those who bring materials into airport terminals.

For a smoother, more secure air travel experience find private jet charter options to skip the TSA.
