Lap in the Luxury – How to Make the Most of a Charter Jet

Lap in the Luxury - How to Make the Most of a Charter Jet | The Early Air Way's Blog

This is the life you see in television, movies and music videos. Whether you are splurging for yourself or arranging a group trip, you want to make the most of your Dallas based private jet charter. There are many advantages to going this route, but you want to book a deal that will allow you to soak in the most luxury. Here are some simple tips to make the most of your trip.

Service, Service, Service

The whole point of luxury is having professionals cater to your needs and desires. When you book a charter, you want to make sure it offers 24/7 service of the highest caliber. This means they can make accommodations when spontaneity occurs, provide high quality catering, anticipate the needs of your destination and generally put in the effort to make you feel like royalty.

Get the Right Jet

It is fairly obvious that not every airplane is ideal for every trip. Even accounting for the length of your flights, airports that will receive you and the size of your party, you should have some options available. Certainly there will be a cost versus size consideration, but if you are going to charter a trip, do not be afraid to go all the way. Aim for the jet that will provide you with the most comfort and the strongest memories of luxury.

Professional Planning

This is an often undervalued benefit to private chartering. Because the aircraft is booked specifically for you trip, you have the freedom to plan the travel as finely or loosely as suits your needs. Federal and international regulations will put some limitations on how whimsically you can alter the plan, but the entirety of the trip can be customized. Whether the trip is for business or pleasure, let the experts help you make a timeline that brings the most out of your trip.

If you are planning to leave from Houston, and you want to experience the highest quality travel available, then you need to consider a private jet charter. Live the high life as often as you can.

Inside a $53 Million Dollar Jet

The Embraer Lineage 1000E was viewed at the Geneva EBACE and is one of the most expensive luxury items you can buy. The interior is 800 square feet and comes with custom interior design. Because the plane is still small it can fly into smaller airports too which gives passengers more destination options. There is also a queen bed and a hot shower, with its own water tank. The plane has windows in every room too to bring in light and give you a great view even in the batroom.

How to Avoid Disaster

Renting a private jet represents opportunity to travel with unconventional levels of comfort. A private jet lets you skip airport lines, security screens and regulations, luggage and equipment limitations and even poor quality mid-air dining. If you are wondering if this kind of travel suits you, rest assured that it does. Private jet rentals allow you to have the ultimate flying experience without the enormous cost of ownership. Here are the three most important things to check to ensure a safe and reliable experience.

  1. FAA Credentials

The FAA is fierce in its regulatory practices. Any company or pilot with their official approval can be considered a professional level expert of their craft. That being said, not everyone in the private jet industry is fully FAA regulated. International operations have varying levels of regulation depending on their regions. Ensuring that your aviators are sanctioned to fly in the United States is the best way to validate their proficiency.

  1. Available Aircraft

You can reasonably expect proper maintenance no matter what airplane you book. All planes are not made equally though. Different trip plans will require different size aircraft with varying fuel efficiencies and speeds. Checking out the available aircraft is a vital step before committing to a company. It is worth the time and effort to make sure they have a vehicle that can properly accommodate your needs.

  1. Outsourcing

A less common, but still noteworthy, practice is for a larger company to have contracts with independently operated jets. This is not inherently problematic, but in cases like this you want to be sure to check the credentials, services and personnel of the outsourced crew as opposed to those of the larger company. This will prevent you from being underwhelmed when a contract company does not perform to the expectations of their larger partner.

Private jet rentals are an excellent opportunity to maximize the enjoyment of your travels. Taking a little care to book a quality group will keep you safe and happy during your trip.

2 Tips for Your Holiday Plans

Many people plan on traveling for the holidays. Whether they are trying to get away from family or get to them, the holidays are a popular time to fly.

This is one of the reasons that traveling around the holidays is a nightmare.

The airports are crammed, the planes are full and the tickets are expensive. If you are planning on a trip for the upcoming holiday season, try following one of these helpful tips to make it easier on your wallet and less stressful.

  1. Time

At this point in the year, if you want to make traveling around the holidays easier on your bank account, you have to travel back in time and buy a plane ticket months ago.

The prices are not going to get any cheaper from now until the holiday. That means that you either have to know someone who has a time machine or bite the bullet and just buy an expensive plane ticket.

  1. Private

If neither of those options sounds appealing to you, you can fly private. Depending on how many people you are flying with, this could actually end up being a cheaper option.

Even if it is just you trying to get back to your hometown for the holidays, it is a much less stressful travel option. When you fly private, you get to pick the schedule. You get to choose the airport you leave from, which means you can pick a smaller, less busy airport.

Renting a private jet is actually a feasible way to make your holiday travel plans more enjoyable.

If you have waited too long to get a plane ticket, consider hiring a private jet. It will cut back on the stress of holiday traveling, and it will help your holiday vacation be truly relaxing.

Do not feel like you have to pay an arm and a leg to get a plane ticket, and then fight through the sea of people to get on the plane. Hire a private jet this holiday season instead.

Travel for Business Like a Pro

Business travel can be a drag, especially if you are on the road for weeks on end, but there are ways to make it easier. Here are some methods frequent business travelers have found to reduce the stress and strain of spending time on work trips.

Take Steps to Reduce Jet Lag

Everyone deals with the adaptation to a new time zone differently, and some people are more affected by the switch than others. Figure out what works for you and be sure to follow those steps each time. Some people find that staying hydrated, taking red eye flights, or exercising the day they fly is beneficial.

Prepare Your Adapters

Check the electrical outlet options available at your destination and make sure you are bringing the right convertors in your luggage. You want to avoid the panic that could set in if you realize that you brought the wrong one at the moment your computer or phone runs out of power.

Bring a Protein-Laden Snack

Airports are sites of constantly changing circumstances and you never know what will happen or what kind of delay you could face. If weather conditions or other situations strand you, you do not want to be caught without food.

Try to Negotiate at the Rental Car Agency and Hotel

Even if your rental car agency will not upgrade your car for free, they might be willing to do it for a much lower price than what is quoted on the website, depending on what is available. Likewise, if your hotel room is located near the elevator and you would prefer another location, ask the desk agent if there is anything they can do. As with any situation, asking nicely is key.

Pack a Tennis Ball

To relieve the stress and tension that inevitably comes from travel, bring a tennis ball. This small, inexpensive and lightweight tool can be rolled under your feet, hamstrings, shoulders and other areas in order to reduce tight spots and make travel much easier.

How to Choose a Private Jet Charter to Miami

With so many options among private charter brokers, it can be challenging to find the right fit for your personal or business needs.

There are many companies to choose from that offer flights to and from Miami. Consider the following questions when evaluating a charter company before booking your next flight:

1. How Do They Handle Safety?

Safety is paramount when it comes to air travel.

There are several good indicators to reflect on when evaluating a particular company.

Several third party agencies assess the safety of private charter companies, including WYVERN and ARG/US.

These agencies have stringent guidelines for evaluating safety, and are known for examining operations even more strictly than the FAA. An approval from these agencies means the company is in compliance with important safety guidelines.

2. Do the Amenities Meet My Needs?

Whether you are looking for a classy business environment, or luxurious personal setting, the amenities of charter flights are many.

Contemplate the following brief list of comforts when planning your trip:

  • Catering
  • In-flight private chef
  • Business needs
  • Coordination with ground transportation

The selection of conveniences varies greatly from company to company, so be sure to carefully evaluate your options before choosing the right fit for your requirements.

3. How Are Trip Logistics Handled?

One of the greatest advantages of flying privately is flexibility.

A private flight should allow you to set the schedule, and then rest assured that the details are being monitored by a capable team whose interest is your on-time arrival.

Time is money in the air business, so look for a company that demands and delivers punctuality, while still allowing you to manage the schedule if a last minute change arises.

Choosing among charter companies is simpler when there is transparency from the beginning.

Developing a relationship with a company means looking into their procedures, attention to safety and client satisfaction. With the right team, your only final concern should be to sit back and enjoy your flight to Miami.
