Kiribati

Kiribati is a series of 33 small islands in the Pacific Ocean. Only two regular flights go to Kiribati each week, so scheduling your own private flight is essential. It is perfect if you are looking for a tropical paradise, but want to avoid tourists or crowds. Most of the islands remain completely untouched and pristine. In fact, the entire nation’s population sits just above 100,000. The ocean life has given it a reputation for incredible scuba diving opportunities and delicious seafood. The Kingdom of Bhutan

A small, mountainous country in the Himalayas, Bhutan only has one airport. It is one of the most difficult air strips to land and take off from, so very few flights frequent it. There is an ancient Buddhist temple that very few people have seen, and activities include hiking or even golfing on one of the most highly elevated golf courses in the world. The Kingdom of Bhutan is one of the most secluded location and a very sought after vacation destination.

When you are traveling by air, it is wise to avoid scheduling multiple layovers. Between the high volume and the winter weather conditions, delays and cancellations are possible. If you need to schedule a layover, consider choosing a location in a less busy airport and in a warmer climate. It is impossible to predict what may happen on the day you travel, but you may have less likelihood for a cancellation or delay when you follow this tip. Keep in mind that the more layovers you plan for, the more likely you will be to deal with a flight delay.

Whether you have decided to make plans at the last minute or you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of busy airports altogether, choosing a charter jet option may be a better idea. New Luxury Destination: Panama

Most people know of Panama because of its canal that takes ships between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Recent luxury additions like the SoHo Panama Mall with an attached Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Reserve will also be opening a private island in 2018 that is 45 miles from Panama City. Panama also has South America’s first subway system to ease your travels in the city. The Tocumen International Airport is also receiving a brand new second terminal to prepare for the influx of travellers to these new high end destinations.

Last Minute Holiday Travel Tips

We are about to enter one of the busiest weeks of travel we’ve seen in years. According to AAA, 100 million people will be traveling around the U.S. between December 23rd and January 3rd. Here are a few extra tips to be prepared while travelling.

  1. Pack smart especially when bringing presents in your checked suitcase. You can have wrapped presents but this will not stop TSA from opening them if they seem suspicious. Bring gift bags instead of wrapping before you leave.
  2. Arrive to the airport early to factor in extended lines. 90-120 minutes before your flight will probably get you in the safe zone of being on time and not leaving you stranded in an airport on Christmas.
  3. Whether you are flying or driving be sure to watch the weather which can be unpredictable this time of year especially on the East Coast.
  4. This time of year there are bound to be delays from weather and the influx of travellers. Be sure to bring back up power for your devices to stay entertained.
  5. Take a breathe. Everybody is in the same hustle-and-bustle mindest trying to get to their destinations. If you feel the frustration coming, stretch or meditate for a few minutes to calm down.
