30 Countries Before Turning 1

30 Countries Before Turning 1 | The Early Air Way

Rae Weber is by far the most traveled person for her age, at just 11 months old and already she has traveled to 26 countries. Her parents, Erica and Chris, have taken her on their journey and expect to visit four more countries in the next month rounding out Rae’s record to 30 countries in her first year.

“It’s just the most amazing experience to be traveling with her. And she’s loving it! Who knows what she’s really thinking, she’s probably like ‘My parents are crazy!’ But who knows how much she’ll absorb.”

Reportedly Rae is enjoying the attention she gets on her family’s trips. Many other travelers are astonished that the couple would continue their globe trotting with such a young child in tow. While it isn’t all easy, she is very accustomed to planes as she has been on more than 40 already, and she deals with exotic foods quite well.

The family expects to continue travelling indefinitely with the hopes of proving all those doubting their drive to see the world with kids.

Your Vacations Reveal Your Personality

Was your last holiday trip full of surf, sand, and sun? Did you pack a jacket and long underwear? A study has claimed that your choice of mountain getaway versus beach blast describes your personality, this is called “person-environment fit.”

Beach

The beach is for extroverts who parade around and enjoy the social atmosphere. Interactions abound here and everyone is on display, these environments suit extroverts well and even rejuvenate them.

Mountain

Introverts are drawn to the mountains where seclusion is in no short supply, the quieter the better. By isolating themselves introverts melt away the stress, returning to civilization at 100%.

The study’s results held no significance, gender, age, and race showed no correlation to where a vacation was located. The researchers even went further to see if the locations called to the people respectively.

When monitoring people in open areas compared to people in quiet, leafy retreats, what they instead found was that, although there were minimal changes in the levels of extroversion or introversion, the extroverts were found to have high levels of happiness in the open spaces and the introverts had high levels of happiness after being in the quieter spaces

Private Jet Destinations of Winter 2016

As winter hits harder, travelers look to other places to either escape the snow and cold or to embrace it, depending on their hometown’s climate.

Colorado seems to be a very popular destination, with three of the top flight routes ending in either Aspen or Vail.

Los Angeles and New York are no surprises at being the more common outbound locations, with many private jets being chartered from those areas. But Mexico makes an appearance as the destination from Los Angeles, not that far of a flight or difference in temperature.

New York to Palm Beach Florida seems to be the most popular route expected in winter 2016.

Ultimate Mauritius Hotel Makeover

Recently reopened, the Shangri-La Le Touessrok is a brand new experience after an enormous makeover to reinvent the luxury hotel. The architecture has been re-figured to include an Asian flair, modern furniture was added for a chic island atmosphere, andart exhibits  incorporated more essence of Mauritius history from food to nature.

Shangri-La’s transformation of Le Touessrok has been driven by a desire to offer less predictable, more authentic island experiences – ranging from exposure to the contemporary arts and music scene, largely hidden from tourist view, to a dodo museum and the rewilding of neglected Ilot Bourgo, with 140 endemic plants. There’s even a stargazing observatory in the pipeline.

For the more active travelers, there are 34 acres of beachfront, 18 holes of golf, and two private islands for relaxation. Further services are available like spa service and massage.
