National Parks to Take Your Family to this Fall

National Parks to Take Your Family to this Fall | The Early Airway Priivate Jet Charter

When you try to plan trips to national parks over summer vacation you may get stuck in horrendous traffic and large crowds. Here are 5 National Parks to visit this fall that are perfect for sitting around a campfire with your kids.

  1. Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tenessee has a ranger program for children 5-12 with outdoor activities, and if you would like a 2 for 1 trip you can head over to Shenandoah National Park that has great fall colored trees.
  2. Acadia National Park, Maine has great ocean front resturants near by that won’t be overcrowded like they are in Summer. You can also participate in bird watching in the Hawk Watch tour through Ocober.
  3. Olympic National Park, Washington is the wettest location in the U.S. which keeps its forests a beautiful bright green but is usually drier after Labor Day. Here you can hike through the forest and stay in a historic lodge.
  4. Capitol Reef National Park, Utah is in the desert near Moab, Utah which gets extremely hot in the summer months. As the temperatures decrease in the fall months there is a fall harvest that visitors can participate in and pick fruit from the 3.000 trees in the area.
  5. Yosemite National Park, California is a great place to walk or bike ride around the valley and take in the wonderful sites. This is also a great place to go camping with the family.
