National Parks See Jump In Summer Visitors | The Early Air Way's BlogThis summer has proven a strong tourism season for the U.S. National Parks, with the National Park Service reporting an additional 5 million visitors over this time last year. While this certainly proves to be a good thing, providing millions of tourists with the appreciation of our country’s natural beauty, it has also put a strain on the Service’s resources and brought on massive crowds at the most popular parks. Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Zion, among others, have driven a large percentage of tourism for the Park Service.

The National Park Service launched its “Find Your Park” campaign earlier in the year to help Americans get better acquainted with their national parks. Various holidays and other anniversaries also expect to draw large crowds through the rest of the year.
