The private jet charter industry saw a rise in demand in the first half of this year, representing a significant recovery for the luxury travel sector. JetCharters.com has reported “an increase of 61 percent in visitors and trip requests through its Web site during the first and second quarters,” and the FAA shows a 20% rise in business jet use since 2009. Many professionals in the aviation industry expect the upward trend to continue, with even higher growth rates coming in 2015 and 2016.
