Alternative Activities in Las Vegas

When you think of Vegas, the first things that might come to mind are the flashing lights, casinos, concerts, night clubs, and grand hotels. This may be the most common impression that Las Vegas gives off to tourists, but there are actually a myriad of alternative activities that Vegas has to offer. The city has a surprisingly large arts scene, with the Bellagio boasting a prestigious art gallery and the Arts District drawing 20,000 people per month for art festivals. Las Vegas is also well-known for its food; with dozens of buffets, highly-rated and well-known restaurants, and specialty options, you’re sure to find some great cuisines that you will enjoy. Looking for a different way to see the city? Helicopter tours are available for checking out the strip and even the nearby Grand Canyon. Want a taste of the ‘old’ Las Vegas? Visit Fremont Street, where people went to gamble before the strip became what it is today.
