Airlines Bringing Back Discount Fares | The Early Air Way

In review of declining revenue, American Airlines is bringing back deeply discounted Advantage Fares. These were first implemented to compete with competitors’ nonstop routes. These flights are usually connecting itineraries, but sometimes up to $0% off the price.

The company has stated that “these fares have become a staple across the U.S. airline industry in recent years.” This fact came about during the US Airways-American Airlines merger from the U.S. Department of Justice regulatory reviews.
